Yes. The person, or persons, covering the cost of your home care service can benefit from tax deductions of up to 40% of the cost. This significantly reduces the real cost of home care provision, allowing you to benefit from high quality care at a heavily discounted rate.
Yes. This is available from the Health Service Executive (HSE) as part of their Home Support Service. There is no means test and the service is available free to those who qualify, regardless of income or assets.
